Scott Andrews impressed the Asian Le Mans field again with securing his second front row start in a row for the finale at Sepang, Malaysia.
Andrews clocked a 1:59:4s lap time, which saw him on top of the timing until the dying moments of the session when Tockwith driver Nigel Moore made some minor adjustments and pipped the #99 WINEurasia Ligier LMP3 with a 1:59:3s lap time.
"There was a bit more left on the table, but I am satisfied with my effort in qualifying. We decided to go a little bit more aggressive on tyre pressures but it didn't quite work out for us. My best lap was actually just after the tyre peak, so we lost a little bit of time there. We probably could've had pole - but it's a 4 hour race tomorrow and anything can happen."
"It's good to cement another front row start for the team also." Andrews stated.
