Coming off a breakthrough LMP3 victory at Sepang in August, Australian sportscar driver Scott Andrews will head to the Portimao circuit, Portugal, for the final round of the Michelin Le Mans Cup.
Andrews will join forces with highly regarded French team Graff Racing, and major team sponsor Eric Trouillet who will step down from LMP2 duties this weekend.
“I am looking forward to teaming up with Graff again after our strong performance at Le Mans. Eric has been doing a fantastic job in the LMP2 car this year, so I feel that we are within a really good shot of a podium result.” Scott said.
Portimao is another new circuit for Andrews, but that doesn’t shy him away from a strong result. “Each circuit this year has been new for me and I’ve managed to be well within the top 4 guys and even topped a few sessions.
I’ve done my homework so we should be alright.”
The Michelin Le Mans cup will have their 2 hour race Sunday.
